Thank
You for your interest in MacDay Labels Systems.
The best ways to show you how the system works
is for you to try out the software by downloading
the FREE Trial version. Please note this software
and printing system is not compatible with Mac
computers.
To
start the download, please click on the link
Lasting
Impressions Setup or if you are having
difficulty clicking on the link, copy and paste
this URL into your browser http://www.macdayupdates.ca/downloads/corpsetup/setup.zip.
Open the Zip file and double click to Run
the setup.exe program
Follow
the prompts as requested. When you click Finish,
another box should appear that says Download,
click on Download and another box will
appear asking if you want to load the latest version
- click YES. This will take approximately
2 minutes and Lasting Impressions
will open ready to use.
- Click
Create Label; choose a background image
for your label. If you have Windows 7 and do
not see thumbnail images of the labels when
you click on Create Label icon. Use the View
icon on the far right of the "Select Template
for New Label" window to select Medium
or Large icons. You should then be able to see
the images to select your design.
- Design
your personalized printing using the icons and
Help menu to take advantage of the many
fun software features. You can use any font
you like but note, thin swirly fonts do not
print well in small point size. Photos do NOT
print properly with these labels. Black and
white clip art images do print well from bmp
or jpg file formats, from the Lasting Impressions
catalogue or from your own file location. Note:
JPG clip art images show on the design screen
with a white background but it becomes transparent
when labels are printed.

Save your label by clicking on the Save As
icon in the top tool bar.
When
you are ready to send your design for printing,
open an email addressed to:
info@macday.ca
and attach the template to an email. You will
find your saved template under
My Documents/MacDay Label Systems/Customers. Please
include your name, store name, address and phone
so we may confirm receipt of your request
Lasting
Impressions has a security code that allows
you to use the program for 30 days on a trial
basis. If you decide you want to continue using
the program call MacDay Label Systems to activate
the program for continued use.
